Starting at 9am Friday, October 20th HighBall Columbus in the Short North Arts District will kick off resulting in road closures throughout the downtown area. Accordingly, North High Street in front of the hotel and the motor court entrance will be closed to vehicle traffic until 9am Sunday, October 22nd , Although road openings might be delayed up to 11am. During this time, valet parking will be located on Wall Street behind the hotel which is accessible from Vine Street entering into the hotel through the Lower Lobby (LL). For those self-parking, you will be able to access the garage from any of the main entrances though you may find the Convention Center Drive access to be the least disrupted. Room keys programmed for self-parking will access any of the garage entrances.
For those not familiar with HighBall, it is the nation’s fiercest costume party. Staged in the fashion capital of Columbus, this yearly event for the Halloween season bridges runway style with the culture of the Short North Arts District. Be a part of the HighBall street spectacle and model yourself on High Street. At HighBall, you are what you wear, though costumes are not required. Street party, food, beverages, costumes, runway show and live music are all part of the scene. Hours are Friday 6pm to 1am and Saturday 4pm to 1am.
